big, big news!

as a young man growing up in the mid 70's and discovering skateboading i had dreams of working within various aspects of skateboarding previous to the day i stepped on that first deck.  once i jumped on a skateboard nothing could stop me.  in '76 i was passing my first petition for an indoor skateboard park as the canadian climate demands it.

in '79 i continued my pursuit in ottawa.  after many, many years of successful skatepark operations i have received an offer to move to toronto to open and indoor facility.  so like many of the local kids that have prospered from various aspects of my work over the last 30 years in ottawa i have accepted the offer and will be moving to toronto to continue to develop the ontario skateboard coach training program in toronto.

Mary-Beth and I want to thank all of our customers, friends, volunteers and even the backstabbers that have made us stronger.  Yes everyone played a role in making it better and stronger.

keep an eye on the site for links to the new skatepark and location or e-mail for info.  we will be partially open in the coming weeks.   this skatepark will be larger then anything we've opened in ottawa so be sure to come check it out.

I would really like to thank all my friends and family for their support over the years in allowing me to pursue the skatepark dream. someday i do hope to return to ottawa and continue the work here.  at least a branch at some point.  ottawa is a nice place to live it is unfortunate that after all the years of meeting and working with the city nothing ever came out of it except for continued short term waste of money programs.



We want to Thank our longstanding community partner the Dovercourt recreation center for working with us in 2008 for the running of the 5th annual dovercourt open - the canadian slalom skateboard championships that crowned new champions in all categoris of competition.

we also joined to gether to offer 4 successful weeks of summer sk8camp.  selling out all of the weeks proved that we offer the best in skateboard lessons in the city.  keep an eye out to see if we are able to offer anything for you in the future.  see above notes.....  thank you to all our campers and the dovercourt staff for another great summer.....
